Here's the post from the other day. The DAs knew they had the wrong guy--DNA test from the rape kit came back negative--but they still pushed for a plea deal. An innocent man spent 13 years in prison as a result.
This sounds like something that should lead to automatic dismissal of the DA, and most likely jail time as well. Kidnapping isn't legal even if it's the DA who does it.
On a minor misdemeanor bicycle ride-to-the-right ticket, our local prosecutor took the case to trial, where THEIR OWN COP’s testimony established a statutory exception. Not guilty.
