I'm always looking for good horror and The Empty Man delivered in a big way. Even if it's not what you're looking for in a horror movie, it's very well done, well paced, and just a good movie overall.
It felt like being lowered into an icy crevasse. You slowly drop lower and lower, twisting in the harness as your headlamp shows you glimpses of increasingly strange and wondrous sights. Eventually, you stop looking for bottom and hope it takes you deep into the void.
