OH BOY DOES IT There's some guides on the Steam forums to help improve performance and it'll generally hit 60 no problem, maybe with some stutters depending on what hardware you have exactly but that can largely be fixed. The only thing is if it can't maintain framerate, it moves in slow motion.

I got the game for $40 so it was no question for me but I get you. The demo is like 10-15% of the game and is pretty god damn substantial so you should have a pretty good idea how you feel about it by the end.

I have some gripes with it, kinda annoyed that they nerfed status effects as much as they did, being able to do statuses to bosses is like the one cool thing Persona/SMT keeps around vs other RPG's, but it's such a wild improvement in every other way. The pacing is also light-years better.

Also I think it says a lot to the quality of the game tbh. Like bro, I fucking hate Persona. I hate it so much. I played P3P for 33+ hours and dropped it, played P4G on Vita for 10+ hours and dropped it, I have no love or respect for that series. Currently 60 hours into Metaphor.

Honestly seeing a bunch of people I follow go just as hard on Metaphor as I did makes me feel pretty good about it. A lot of the time with these big ass mega games I try to make it a point to blow through them as fast as possible so they don't take up months of my life, but everyone is doing that.
