During a recent recce both Edwin Popken & I did a fair bit of off the normal Market Garden route. A fantastic & historical place to stop is this building. During OpMG it was HQ for Oberst Kurt Student. The house & nearby monastery (also part of his headquarters) is elegant & stunningly beautiful
Saddened to see devastating fire that’s ripped across swathes of ANZAC sector in Gallipoli this week. Photos below are of part of it in July. Let’s hope winter brings rejuvenating rain & that Spring will appear on the wounded land. I also hope everyone found somewhere safe
