Vance's tone of voice will be all some people need. "See? He's reasonable. He's not yelling. He will listen to reason!" Monday, a young man asked for something and I told him no. He kept hounding me with a "smile" in his voice. He didn't like that I didn't cave to fake friendliness. So very Vance!
