I think its important to note that the study specifically said that being in the top 1% in the US was having an income over $140k. So yes, billionaires are a big problem, but so are the habits of the upper-middle/lower-upper class like post-grad professionals.

The efforts to individualize carbon responsibility is so fucking insidious. YOU are the problem, average person, and not only should you feel guilty, we're also going to sell you something that makes you feel better (electric cars, green anything) but doesn't actually solve any of the problems.
