I don't know enough about their methodology or the reintroduction site. There is precedent in Russia for this, but after 15 yrs with tigers sourced from all over their natural range they are up to .... 25 (?) individuals in the new RUS landscape. 2x that in the same amount of time in KZ seems hard
Decade of the Wolf by Douglas Smith. Kinda in the same genre as Owls of the Eastern Ice and your next book.
