Hi #trunkbased developers, do you use any shift-left tools that ensure good code gets checked before push? (IE auto code analysis, test run completed, security deps checks, all done before a commit is pushed)
My Coding Manifesto 🔸Pragmatic not dogmatic. 🔸Patterns over divergence. 🔸Calculated-risk not blasé-development. 🔸Explicit not magical. 🔸Simple over complicated. 🔸Readable not over-engineered. 🔸Complex but guided. 🔸Common language over technical sounding. 🔸CUPID principle.
Honestly curious on #gitflow#developers#trunkbased#Agile
about this TS vs JS. I do enjoy the benefits of TS but I think the tooling has made us sloppy Devs. Ruby got it right. The lack of typing forces people to write more intuitive code, better testing and some may say elegant.
I got a HP spectre thinking I could use it as a tablet in bed or on the couch. it is still way too heavy to use comfortably. If I'm going to be at a table - always laptop. 2-in-1s are no where near its full potential. Should just stick to purpose made devices for now
These throwable fire extinguishers seem like a real-life example of xkcd.com/937 — they have really good reviews from everyone except the few people who tried using them to put out fires
Will you integrate millionjs officially. And if not why?
