Day 1 completed! Today was a lot to take in but I think it went really well overall. A lot of work ahead of me.

This is going to be my first time working in an office since February and the thing I'm going to miss most is spending every moment of my day hanging out with my dog. She sleeps on my desk, steals my french fries, and endures my Sonic cringe. My wife WFH so she's super lucky.

I didn't grow up with Nintendo consoles so I'd heard of how good Metroid was, and I loved the aesthetic. Ironically even though I worked at Nintendo for a few years I didn't play any of them until very recently and HOLY COW the series has earned its rep. Both Super and Dread are in my top 10 games.

Got a few things cooking on my end. I'm potentially working on something cool soon, and I start work at Microsoft as a QA Engineer this week so it's a busy time for me. I do have art on the side I want to work but but I gotta get all this other stuff squared away first.

I need to start using this more. Twitter is just sinking further and further into oblivion.
