I tried looking this up but I only see one book attributed to her "murders yet to come" which doesn't seem to have that plot. Is there another one?

Yup, she wrote a sequel, Give Me Death, which the estate/corp has tried to completely bury from the record (for obvious reasons)

It’s called “give me death” according to Wikipedia & Goodreads Also…this is so so gross Like, I know once you look into any topic you’re gonna find: ✨& the reason was racism✨ Particularly standardized tests But yuck (Context: I’m currently reading a book about how fatphobia is rooted in racism)

From her Wikipedia page

The contest prize included a $7,500 (equivalent to $133,000 in 2023) cash award and a contract for a second work of fiction. Briggs Myers fulfilled her obligation by writing the novel Give Me Death, which revisits the same detectives from Murder Yet to Come. In it, a Southern family commits suicide one by one after learning they may have "Negro blood".[12][13] The novel was published in 1934 and received harsh treatment from critics.[6]
