Both Jacobson and the Observer have terrible opinions so they are a great match
The one where, in the name of anti-antisemitism, Jordan Peterson reinscribes race science. A truly dreadful article which I hope to use in teaching as a example of antisemitic philosemitism www.standard.co.uk/comment/jord...

I'm seeing a trend of writing Israel as 'Israel'. I'm actually fine with this as long as we do it for all the settler colonies and imperial core states, so 'United States', 'Canada', 'Australia', 'United Kingdom, 'Spain', 'France' etc. Bit cumbersome though.
The Chagos islands agreement is a huge win for decolonisation

*out of thin air. Also the US is supporting Israel here because it wants it to take out Iran’s nuclear capabilities, a hugely dangerous desire.
The claim that Iran attacked Israel out of thin area is a dangerous one, as it encourages an Israeli military response. In fact it was a limited response to a year of regional war and the invasion of Lebanon, and one that targeted military sites. The wiser call is for a ceasefire across the region.
