Going to be in NYC for 48 hours this week, what are some good things to do or see (for someone who grew up in NJ and thus did all the stereotypically touristy stuff enough times to be sick of them)
Really great quick stop off if you get the chance…then walk over to McSorleys. g.co/kgs/75J1AuF
I love the tenement museum, personally speaking.
I think the met’s sunroom of Ancient Greek and Roman sculptures is real amazing
E or F to Roosevelt Ave in Queens. Walk around Jackson heights then walk down Broadway through Elmhurst towards Queens place mall. You have now walked the most diverse street on the planet and have ended up at a mall who could not become a perfect circle because someone refused to sell.
Astoria Seafood is fun, you go in, pick out the raw seafood and they cook it right there They have a huge selection, I would recommend it more for lunch than for dinner, dinner is a madhouse
The Mexican Prints exhibition is good: www.metmuseum.org/exhibitions/...; happy to provide tickets
Exhibition now on view at The Met
Broadway play tbh
