I think the devs have said they plan to do private/locked accounts as well as encrypted DMs, just down the line. There were other things that users were asking for like video that they prioritized I believe

Yeah I used to follow them but they removed all the devs from it and now it’s just the official Bluesky corporate accounts. I like following along with the details the devs talk about for new features they’re working on
