Today's View From a Run: The sun sets on the marina as the fog crawls its way out of the ocean to devour the land. The last mile of my run was me running into that fog and you could feel the temperature drop the deeper you went. My house is currently enveloped in it.

Today's View From a Run: not enough ships have figureheads these days, which is really a shame. This particular ship is the Swift of Ipswitch, and is managed by the Los Angeles Maritime Institute. They're currently renovating it, which is probably why the paint job is looking so fresh.
Thanks to my neighbor-friends I found out about a Filipino-American arts and culture festival happening about a half mile from my house today. When I saw that Tia Carrere was going to be performing my inner teenage-Josh was VERY insistent that we had to go. Had lots of fun and ate WAY too much.
My discover tab gives me a pretty interesting assortment of posts, though it does tend to prioritize posts by people I follow that I haven't seen yet. There are also other custom feeds that you can subscribe to based on interests which might be a good place to start? Search the Feeds tab!
Another fun fact: We did the PC port directly after the Xbox 360 version. When I was debugging something on PC I realized that the English class rewards were totally busted - the game was always acting like you did all English classes (full-on smooching!). So that's fixed on PC, but not 360. Whoops.
Fun fact: when I was setting up the menus for Bully PC I spent a day trying to figure out mouse support, but the PS2-originating code just drew UI elements directly to the screen, so there was nothing to hook into to detect a click. Do NOT try and play that game with mouse and keyboard!
