It’s very odd to me how a supposedly advanced country has shifted into normalizing armed rebellion but only from white conservatives as routine political speech. The police allow those same militias to assault and murder with near-impunity Black and queer folks holding signs and chanting. It’s bad!
Leah Sottile and Ryan Haas did some truly excellent journalism on this phenomenon with the two seasons of their Bundyville podcast.
