I was having dinner with my dad the other night and he started talking about how he worked there as a young person, and how they would literally ride the stacks in the little conveyor belt carts for fun.

I never did find that! 😢 I did get caught up in the Polonsky Exhibition, so after that I didn't do much wandering around or trying to figure out how to find anything in there. 😕

I miss it keenly! Such a heavenly place.

I like to go there and fantasize that scholarship/research/knowledge are valued as much as the architecture suggests. I spend a lot of time there.

If I ever make another trip to NYC, I need to go see that in person. That's incredible.
