I've been there, however, my oldest has told me multiple times she appreciates being included and at times forced to tag along, because in the end she has a great time. Childhood is short, make 'em come along! ;)

I forgot to respond to this, but thank you. We actually went on holiday with my parents last year and had a great time. I needed that reminder, haha
