Labour have a manifesto commitment to "protect democracy by strengthening the rules around donations to political parties." Now would be a very good time to knock the donation scandal on the head by acting on it, and clean up political funding at last

If you belong to a small branch of a large party, with 200 members, where does the money you need to print a leaflet come from? (During elections, if I decide to frank 50 letters from the party, I'm supposed to declare it as a donation)
