I think we also need to get out of our head the idea that working-class white people vote for Trump or republicans generally, when we have the data that proves they don't. Trump voters tend to have 6-figure incomes; working-class people don't tend to vote at all.

Yes I am aware that Trump’s base is petty local rich folks, but his appeal is not limited to those folks, especially by now
