From a report showing an overall drop in sales of heat pumps in Europe in 2023. Two thirds of homes in Norway are heated with air-to-air, with high satisfaction www.ehpa.org/wp-content/u...www.carbonbrief.org/guest-post-h...

This is the part of the VP debate where Walz said, "When Mike Pence made that decision to certify that election, that’s why Mike Pence isn’t on this stage." The part of the debate that the corporate media ignored. That part.

On December 7, Rudy Giuliani attempted to send Michigan Senate majority leader Mike Shirkey a message—though failed because he typed the wrong number into his phone: "So I need you to pass a joint resolution from the Michigan legislature that states that, * the election is in dispute *"

Despite failing to establish any valid fraud claims, CC1 followed up with P37 and P38 and attempted to pressure them to use the Michigan legislature to overturn the valid election results. On December 4, CCI sent a message to P38 claiming that Georgia was poised to do so (based on CC1 and CC false advocacy there in the December 3 hearing) and asked P38 for help: "Looks like Georgia may well hold some factual hearings and change the certification under ArtIl sec 1 cl 2 of the Constitution. As CC2 explained they

don't just have the right to do it but the obligation. ... Help me get this done in Michigan." 168 On December 7, CCI attempted to send P37 a message (though failed because he typed the wrong number into his phone): "So I need you to pass a joint resolution from the Michigan legislature that states that, * the election is in dispute, * there's an ongoing investigation by the Legislature, and * the Electors sent by Governor Whitmer are not the official Electors of the State of MI

When a colleague told Trump co-conspirator P5, "We think [a batch of votes heavily in Biden's favor is] right," P5 responded, 'find a reason it isnt,' 'give me options to file litigation,' and 'even if itbis [sic].'" When the colleague feared a riot, P5 responded, "Make them riot" and "Do it!!!"

In the immediate post-election period, while the defendant claimed fraud without proof, his private operatives sought to create chaos, rather than seek clarity, at polling places where states were continuing to tabulate votes. For example, on November 4, PS -a Campaign employee, agent, and co-conspirator of the defendant— tried to sow confusion when the ongoing vote count at the TCF Center in Detroit, Michigan, looked unfavorable for the defendant. There, when a

colleague at the TCF Center told PS "We think [a batch of votes heavily in Biden's favor is] right,"17 PS responded, "find a reason it isnt," "give me options to file litigation," and "even

if itbis [sic]."18 When the colleague suggested that there was about to be unrest reminiscent of the Brooks Brothers Riot," a violent effort to stop the vote count in Florida after the 2000 presidential election, responded, "Make them riot" and "Do it!!!"20

“My heat pump has a fan that blows out warm air – it is sufficient to heat a two-storey house of 130 sq metres 10 months of the year. When the temperatures get down to below -5C, we have to put on the radiators sometimes.” www.theguardian.com/environment/...

This war is so much scarier than anything before. The scale of airstrikes. Drones buzzing over head as we sleep and as we walk through the streets running errands. Exploding electronics. But the scariest thing of all? There is no rational world leader w/ the power to put a halt to the killing

Background - from Joshua Rozenberg’s Substack. open.substack.com/pub/rozenber...

A High Court judge has received a reprimand for serious misconduct after writing a love letter to a young woman member of staff. A reprimand is the most serious sanction short of removal from office. It was issued to Mr Justice Marcus Smith, a judge of the Chancery division since 2017 and president of the Competition Appeal Tribunal since 2021.

In a statement published yesterday, the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said it had received a complaint in May alleging that Smith, 57, had passed a handwritten letter to a junior member of staff, referring to a number of personal matters and his feelings for her.
