We can’t have ethical, non-coercive , euthanasia until we address forced disability poverty. Until then, euthanasia is going to keep being a thinly veiled front for eugenics. And MAiD as a “treatment” option for substance use disorders is particularly evil.

ESSENTIALLY, the government is saying: WE COULD GIVE YOU what you need. IT WOULDN'T COST VERY MUCH. THERE WOULD BE LITTLE OR NO HARM to society. And YOU could lead a good life. HOWEVER, we'd rather YOU KILL YOURSELF.
