I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you could predict the outcome of an information operation, you would be a billionaire. Since you are not a billionaire...

🚨JOB! Well look at that, the link is available earlier than I had thought! UNC Chapel Hill History Dept is now officially advertising a position for Assistant Professor of U.S. Military History, with a preference for specialization in the 20th century. unc.peopleadmin.com/postings/288586

This is a great resource for aspiring military writers. The Harding Project and Army University Press put together a top-notch product. It was a pleasure to make a small contribution that reviews the earliest US Army professional journals. Check it out! www.armyupress.army.mil/Journals/Mil...

Dude in the car next to me at a triathlon is maybe 30 or so. Rocking a big hipster retro beard and riding an ancient Giant with shifters on the downtube. Hat tip, but if you are really going to commit to the bit, you need to swim in a long cotton suit and ride a penny farthing.

I don’t think I will ever tire of the last chapter of The Great Gatsby.

That’s basically the emerging narrative of the book. A chain of events take us to a place with neither political will to back up or to back out. Military is then left for the next 35 years or so trying to solve an unsolvable problem. The three big responses were fantasy, apathy, and cynicism.
