Great post. What I think that should mean is that the only progress scores that could be published for a school would be for the pupils whose entire education from RBA to KS2 was at that school. All other data ceases to be a measure of the school's progress...

Part of me sees the benefit of VA - in such a highly deprived school I’d be mad not to. But part of me despairs at the massive complication of it all. Will this bake in the EAL effect again or do you think it will be less with starting from an earlier stage.
