Ya, me and my friend walked from the Llandeilo train station all the way there with heavy back packs in the dark, foggy night! Finally saw it in the distance under a full moon!
My American Hawthorne's came here in 1701 from Bray, Berkshire, England. They took their surname from Hawthorne Hill near Bray. The American author Nathaniel Hawthorne's ancestors also come from this same place.
