this is exactly why i still buy discs in 2023. it's crazy to think that we are reaching a point where piracy will be the only option to own media once dvds and blu-rays are gone.

It's hardly obscure, but I've always loved the chicken leg mounts from Golden Axe - I'd love to fight as one of those.

It's worse, but not significantly so. The targeting is a bit crap, but if you haven't played the original it feels okay (similar to NiGHTS, really).

I kinda have this thought about the PS2 every time I see Silent Hill 3. Like, this is probably all we needed. It wasn't even the most powerful (or easy to develop for) machine of its generation, but damn, that Emotion Engine could render some soft-edge particles I tell you hwhut.
