I never started posting art over here, so here goes! This is my ref sheet from @lindseyburcar.bsky.social! It's been my character's canon design since 2019. I went for "leviathan" because I love 1) rain, the ocean, rivers, etc. 2) Christian mythology (read Job 41 sometime) and 3) dragons—obviously!

He has yellow eyes and teal fins on his elbows and ankles. The best aspect of Jrain's design that Lindsey developed is his biolum. I wanted him to have "glowing yellow tattoos" like Aang from ATLA. Somehow, deep sea creatures already having something like this alluded me. 😂 I love creatively playing around w/ biolum related to physical activity or emotion!
