We certainly do live in depressing times. I hate to keep dumping on Old Man Trump, but HE is one of these motivator of the age of stupid. But "fake news" and "alternate facts" started the ball rolling. Why EARN something when you can just make it all up and swear it's true?

I would say this stuff was best shown to Republicans, but I'm starting to think there are few if any Republicans on this website. I'd like to discuss this stuff with Republicans who don't support Old Man Trump.

Also quite possible, but I'm factoring in so-called 'down ballot' races (after this one). If they see big losses Old Man Trump could just be an albatross around the neck of what's left of the GOP.

That's possible, of course. However I think IF he loses, all Old Man Trump's sycophantic buddies will drop him like a bad habit and make like they never heard his name. A 2-time loser will be a liability to Republicans. At that point they'll have THEIR asses to cover.

I didn't know about it until a couple of weeks ago. I was just sick and tired of Twit ter and Elon Musk so I Googled "alternatives to Twitter" which led me here. Not as many MAGA assholes here.

People often forget he was an actor, and as such he was a professional liar, trained to make people think he was a believable character. Certain in his beliefs. And it worked. Remember "Reagan Democrats"?

AI is just another advancement in computer learning, which I, as a science fan of many tears, I like it. The problem is that far too many people are just too stupid to know how to use it wisely.

Reagan pretty much STARTED the GOP rush to extreme right wing. But notice how even St. Ronnie is looking like an old Liberal. Take a few of Reagan's more conservative beliefs. Relate them to a far Right wingers (but don't say they were the Gipper's) and watch what they say.
