I am begging people to understand that the Biden policy on the border, and the one Harris keeps messaging she will continue and expand, is to make it *easier* for refugees to enter and stay in the country in a well documented and quiet way that undermines Trumpist attacks about "weak borders".

I am (genuinely, I mean this) sorry that we live in a political system and social context that requires us to do good things in a way that sounds bad, but we do, and that means it's a responsibility of the politically energized to work to understand the *effect* of policy, not just the presentation
