I see rumours of French butter at Ratinaud in Halifax… good luck!
Ok can you get Lurpak, or French brands like President? This reminds me of my futile search for English cheese in Ireland. Thankfully we have plenty of Kerrygold here but to my mind it’s not very different from any other butter.

I truly don’t understand what is different about New York butter.
Are they even mentioning subsidised childcare and cheaper housing? Because that might help.
I’d like to think the new Labour government would do something about this, but I’m not sure what.
As I often say, it's not about saving the planet: the planet will be orbiting the sun long after we're gone. It's about saving us - us humans and many of the other species on which our own lives depend. Nature doesn't need us: we're the ones who need it.
