I like #BlazingStrike 's ideas. My guess is that it's meant to be a fast, frantic evolution of 3rd Strike gameplay. The 'Rush' button and mechanics give you instant access to aggressive pressure, AND there's a MOTW-style guard break in play, but there are also tap-forward parries. (1/3) 💪🕹️

Then there's "parry burst". You can parry ~while being combo'd on the ground~ by holding Rush and mashing forward (the timing of the forward has to be right before one of their combo hits). On success, this costs 4 Rush bars and you end their combo ~while also granting you a combo~. (2/3) 💪🕹️
