australia has a lot of faults but having a decent voting system certainly ain't one of them

Our Electoral Commission (a non-partisan org that runs our elections) actively stalks you to make sure that you're registered to vote the second you turn 18, & continues to do so to make sure you can vote wherever you live. Swear to god, they're better at tracking ppl than the cops & the Tax office.

while australia may not exist, they do actually have a decent voting system. here in kansas a "high turnout" election is when one out of every three people vote. a similar amount of people voted on the new license plate design (300k) than voted in the last election (330k)
