Now published - Carbon storage in old hedgerows: The importance of below-ground biomass. We destructively sampled hedgerow biomass in northern Germany and found a total of 105 Mg biomass C/ha, with substantial C storage in coarse roots and tree stumps. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...
