Another bad night for pundits. Perhaps they’re asking the wrong questions. Asking “is Biden too old? is perfectly acceptable in journalism. Asking “do you think the Republican party is trying to overthrow democracy so religious creeps can control your life and your body?” is, for some reason, not.
There is an assumption in American politics, embraced not just by Republicans but also the press and too often the Democrats, that legitimacy comes from one thing only: the support of Republicans. So if Republicans want something, no matter how deranged, it is inherently legitimate.
The media falsely presents the Republicans Party as normal functioning beacons of democracy.
Also, the only people who answer polls these days are freaks who answer unknown numbers. Those are not super representative of the voting population lol
I'm not a doctor but Biden seems like he's exceptionally good health for his age.
That’s not journalism. That’s Twitter TV.
Asking the former is journalism, asking the latter is ~partisan~. 🙃
In honour of the image in your account profile, this best sums up Republicans.. "I don't know what they have to say, It makes no difference anyway, Whatever it is, I'm against it. No matter what it is or who commenced it I'm against it"
"Am I out of touch?? No. It's the citizens who are wrong."
Well, they might be worried the oligarchs will get offended and continue to take over and sell off the news media.
I wish I could get a job where I could be continuously wrong and still pull down tens of thousand of dollars in pay to be wrong some more. If I make one major screw-up in my job, I lose the next election and lose my $1,200/year pay.
