But yeah, we have a lot of peatlands in different forms, and that is added complication to land sink discussion

Yeah, we have the world record of the most bogs trenched for industrial forest plantations in the world. Much of that did not produce biomass eventually. Everyone who has been fly fishing for more than ten years sees it in the brown waters and stocked rainbow trout instead of functional ecosystems.
