“To what end” is my question for these use cases. I’ve seen maybe 5 uses of generative AI that seemed worth it? Hundreds that are no better than existing tech solutions.

This is one of my frustrations as well. Climate change and the developing humanitarian issues are pressing matters, I’m no tech professional but so many uses as of now don’t seem to warrant the resources. I don’t think we’re at the point where this should be used frivolously — low reward, high cost!
