ugh so I'm writing a column about exactly this right now. The government *claims* it's building high-frequency rail — maybe even high speed — but I'm afraid it's a ridiculous public-private partnership that's going to amount to a massive boondoggle.

Everyone loves a good, old fashioned P3. Never fails, except for all the times it does, and the best part is we get to cover the risks while reaping none of the profits! And when something does go wrong, no one will talk because it’s trade secrets and everything is in camera. 👍
