I think the lawyers last interaction with the judge was to motion for her to be held in jail for now and it was granted, which seemed strange because I’ve always heard you want to get out of jail and into prison ASAP

He explained it to her that whenever she's released from prison, she will then serve the 6 months in country jail. I think she's to be held in country prison while they make an appeal for a release on bond, rather than a stay of sentence which is what they wanted. IANAL but that's what I heard
