and ho boy does he have so many questions for one human bakugou.

and kirishima does. and he watches dazed when bakugou stomps away after slapping the phone into his hand saying "i'll choose the fucking time and place. might as well make sure it ain't shit." so well. maybe his confession hadn't failed like he'd thought.

(kirishima rlly wasn't so sure someone who wanted to date someone else should call their possible amour so many expletives) "you Want to go out with me?" "yes! jesus- fuck- just give me your phone!"

"just. now?" except if kirishima thought about it maybe not really. he Had mocked kirishima but he hadn't said No. "yeah well i do dumbass." kirishima can only stare and nod a little "uh huh" and bakugou rolls his eyes, clearly exasperated, "so when's the date asswipe?"

"what?" bakugou looks infuriated but he snatches the now sweaty and sad flowers from his hand and waves them in front of kirishima's face "my flowers, jackass!" "but. i thought? i thought you didn't want them?" bakugou sniffs all pompous air, "when the fuck did i say that?"

and for some reason he seems kind of upset? pouty? kirishima can't tell rlly until he says "so y're just gonna take my flowers and dip asshole?" and kirishima so eloquently responds with a "huh?" "my flowers." bakugou repeats the words as if that makes everything suddenly make sense

and kirishima awkwardly excuses himself with flowers still in hand contemplating if the school building was high enough to jump off of when he's yanked back into reality when bakugou catches up and pulls him to a stop (he's surprisingly strong for how small he is compared to kirishima)

and soulless bakugou looks him in the eyes, straight faced and says "dead?" poor kirishima has no clue how to respond to that and counts it as a loss. bakugou's friends scold him when they see kirishima's wilted smile (and flowers)

the process of learning to hear is exhausting and overstimulating and he counts every second until he can get to his dorm and hide away from it all.
