Amherst makes sense to me. Pioneer Valley has been a housing bubble for years, combined with the high number of colleges and universities there that can't house all their students. It's a feeding trough for rental property owners.

It makes sense yes but also doesn't make it any less outrageous. I get that some people think demand based pricing is fine and good but for housing, even if they are, but almost esp because they are college kids, it's just insanely exploiting and evil.
