I had a similar experience! A bit of a scuff on the rear mech and the right shifter, and I needed some new bar tape. Could have finished the race on the bike if I hadn't pulverized my femoral neck. A case of our bodies (not bikes) absorbing all the energy of the impact.

So you're now riding again, How hard was it to get back on, both mentally and physically? Are you more cautious? Any pain? Change in riding style/ fit ? All advice appreciated 👍
