You're completely right, of course! It's just curious how this looks given standard definitions/understandings of democracy (Przeworsksi: a system where parties lose elections...)
CDA was “in power” even longer in the Netherlands. But that was a different time. 37 years is an incredibly long time. Moreover, they have ruled with everyone but NEOS.
