This. Block, don't talk. Though personally I report then block. The only handy thing about TERFs is that there is almost *always* a policy violation in their TL or replies (usually their replies; front TL is typically just cover content for attackers to evade surface account checks).
My opinion is that the standardized testing that drives the educational model is the root of the problem. There's very little space, if any, for any approach that deviates from what is believed to affect those scores.
