What were your original prices? Because I doubt anyone is selling captioning services for as cheap as you are. Saying it's too expensive? I'm sure they're lying, and they're *definitely* undervaluing your work.

no, my prices are industry standard. and my friends arent lying 🫠 they literally cant afford me at $1.5 or $2 per audio minute. that's more than what Congress pays me, which is $0.70 per audio minute to proofread transcripts o.o they used to pay me $1 per audio minute to actually transcribe

Most tiktoks/YTshorts are less than a minute long. Twitch clips only go up to 60 seconds too. That's just $1 for a twitch clip! That is NOT too expensive!
