I want to be clear: your whole reasonable middle of the road schtick isn’t critical thinking or sober minded analysis. It is normal to think that an excessive amount of murdered health workers, journalists, and a defunded UN org has led to inaccurately low death toll numbers by design.
Do you have evidence to the latter though? The evidence to the middle claim is essentially the fact that a disproportionate number of journalists are dead.
Like… do you think it’s weird that after 130 journos are capped by *someone* we end up at a static death toll for 3 months during a bombing campaign equivalent to Dresden?
What sourcing are you basing your claim that of the 130ish journalists that were killed some “weren’t journalists? The IDF? Even if half were secretly terrorists it would be more journalist deaths than Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq combined. That’s sixty years of conflict!
It’s fine that you want to stick your fingers in your ears and go “La La La” when it concerns an inconvenient confluence of evidence, but your main sources for what you believe tend to boil down to “People that were wrong about Iraq”
More journalists have been killed in Gaza in the past six months than have died during 20 years of Afghanistan. I am not sure how that’s hog wash or falsities from “Hamas”.
Do you think the mass graves found over the past six weeks may also have led to a higher number?
