true... though I'm personally much less interested in what people being paid to classify images think is a pretty picture (or think their employer wants them to classify as a pretty picture)
I think the later image generators are less a reflection of the training data because they used reinforcement learning heavily to make the output more "esthetic" and remove some of the more egregious content. (Situation with LLMs is probably more complicated.)

I mean it shouldn't usually be like that, but I guess the difference is you get full credit for the resulting mess?
spending all your time doing code reviews for someone (or "someone") whose code superficially looks fine but is often deeply flawed or makes no sense at all... doesn't sound like much fun

can't disagree with any of those things... but thinking of New Wave SF and the idea of SF being (at some point?) "working class literature" and now I'm mostly confused :)
I'm on my second aeropress so I'm slightly puzzled by this :) (but yeah, probably impractical for people who make more than one cup at a time)
