What an odd question. I've taught web development classes to computer science undergraduates in a lab of Macs. They were not easy machines for the Apple uninitiated in the class. There were a lot of complaints.

I also spent a couple years developing for iOS with a Mac mini as my daily driver. The mini was expensive for what it was and my dealings with Apple as a developer and customer frankly had a negative impact on my mental health. I've heard no indications that things have improved since.
