At worse, someone should just say 'sorry I don't do Q n A's' or not reply at all. But if they are the kind to get mad, chances are you will see them blow up at someone else long before you and that is your cue to seek info in better waters.(and support better folks at the same time).

Its the expectation you will GIVE an answer and not that it's an offer. Folks will realize when people get tired of being dispensers and go back to hording secrets like dragons not for fear of replacement, just cause people have no dang manners lol
Yeah :) I'm all about folks getting info and learning. I'm 100% against using folks for personal gain. We are on the same page.🤝
It's not about learning. It's about getting close to people specifically to use their knowledge to boost yourself and bail soon as that use is done. It happens in a lot of places. Enjoying art =/= Only coming to people for help but contributing nothing so you can't really compare the two.
The number of folks who followed my art in places and would ask tons of questions I'd take time to answer and show examples and do draw-overs for then bailed the second I stopped doing that are gonna learn the strongest lesson of all- it's a small industry and ppl remember when yer just using them
