There's just something about getting a haircut/shave in India, especially at fancy places. The barber is not at all interested in small talk, has strong opinions about how you should style your hair/beard, and always does an A+ job with the service.

I just told my parents it was INR 3900 (~USD 50), and my dad told me that's 8 years of haircuts for him at his local barbershop. Not a particularly good measure, he hasn't had much hair since I was a little baby
