Hot take.I think every human, rich or poor, is entitled to free access to a washing machine. I don't think clean clothes should be monetized, and if you're paying for utilities in your rented property, you shouldn't have to pay a dollar fifty or more per load of clothes. It should be covered.

Literally in section 8 and laundry went up by 1.50$ this year. We do most of ours in a camper washer in our bathroom and hang it up inside to dry w fans on. Infuriating tho, UBI needed to be a thing so long ago.

The homeless or people in a situation where they can't afford to use a landromat should have a public, government sponsored place they can go to do laundry (and get a hot shower while we're talking) being clean shouldn't be a luxury
