Also I can't wait until I reach that point where I'm following enough people for my timeline to be constantly active with new posts to view & engage with. I still don't vibe with the concept behind splitting the FYP and Following feeds into their own tabs, but that shouldnt matter if stuffs there.

I'm so happy that you don't get penalized for the simple act of retweeting. So much content farms ended up just stealing eachother's tweets in an endless cycle of engagement-recycling, now we can boost eachother's work without worrying about our own performance.

If it's not botted, then it's clearly a case of engagement inflation. I still remember pre-covid when 100 likes would be the equivalent of 4k today. Except 3,800 of those likes aren't from actual users.

I'm comparing popular posts with BlueSky vs Twitter and I'm convinced that 90% of Twitter's "banger tweets" are just paid bots, while all the engagement on here is genuine. Makes sense though because over on Twitter you'll see the worst tweets reach numbers up to 500k for no real reason.
